Little Scallywags are seeking to employ a practitioner for a sessional service who is dedicated and enthusiastic.

We welcome candidates who hold a minimum level 5 qualification, Experience as an Early Years Practitioner preferable, you will play a crucial role in the care and education of children aged between 2 years 6 months and 5yrs 6 months.

✅ Key Responsibilities:
Daily Duties to include:
• Caring for and engaging with children in a nurturing environment ensuring that all of their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
• Communicating to the manager consistently and regularly in order to best meet the needs of the children, parents and team members.
• Developing and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning, and offer children opportunities to reach their full potential in line with our Aistear Curriculum.
• Create a safe and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.

❗ Requirements:
• Minimum level 5 qualifications in Early Years Education and Care.
• Enthusiasm and passion for working with children in order to help them reach their full potential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team, who place the child central to all practices.
• Capability of working with and meeting the needs of the children and families in our care.
• Garda vetting and reference checks will be conducted for all applicants.
